This role is all about direct customer education and support. The Strategic Solutions Executive will have a passion for building superior customer relations and training end-users on how to best serve their LEP population by effectively using MasterWord’s various solutions. The Strategic Solutions Representative will be responsible for moving quickly throughout customers’ sites, delivering trainings and identifying training opportunities.

The Assistant Recruiter is responsible for assisting with recruitment activities including but not limited to sourcing, attracting, and selecting qualified language professionals to provide interpreting services.

  • Assist with initial applicant screening.
  • Assist in managing the candidate pipeline for assessments through phone, text, and email. Follow up with applicants as needed.
  • Maintain the applicant database.
  • Make public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and available opportunities.
  • Confer with recruiters to determine priorities for applicant processing.

The ideal candidate understands how translation workflows work and can prepare, adapt, and recreate files for multilingual production. This role requires close collaboration with project managers and linguists to ensure files are translation-ready and accurately rebuilt after translation.

  • Prepare source files for translation, ensuring compatibility with Phrase and other CAT/TMS tools.
  • Recreate and finalize translated files while preserving layout, formatting, styles, and functionality
  • Work with a wide range of file formats, including but not limited to:
    • InDesign (INDD, IDML)
    • Illustrator (AI)
    • Photoshop (PSD)
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • PDF (editable and non-editable)
    • HTML, XML, and other structured formats
  • Ensure correct handling of tags, variables, and placeholders coming from Phrase
  • Troubleshoot formatting, text expansion, font, and encoding issues across languages
  • Apply localization best practices (text expansion, RTL/LTR considerations, line breaks, etc.)
  • Deliver files that meet client and linguistic requirements within agreed deadlines

Required Qualifications/Skills:

The Administrative Assistant, Business Development will play a key role in driving company growth by cold calling curated prospect lists, prequalifying leads, and supporting the Strategic Solutions team with targeted sales strategies in the interpretation and translation sector.

Core Administrative Support

  • Collect and organize cost codes, purchase orders (POs), and related billing documentation.
  • Schedule quarterly meetings with existing accounts and coordinate logistics.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, reports, and presentation materials in advance.
  • Take meeting notes and manage task follow-up and delegation.
  • Update and maintain shared slides and materials for staff or team meetings.

Sales Operations & Coordination

  • Submit account setup forms, PSAs, and rate sheet requests on behalf of sales.
  • Support the traveling sales team with scheduling, logistics, and coordination.
  • Serve as point of contact for Operations when escalating items to the sales team.
  • Assist in setting up new clients for RIS, VRI, and Client Portal access.
  • Maintain and organize account folders and shared drives (proposals, PSAs, rate sheets, etc.).

CRM & Data Management

  • Keep CRM data accurate and up to date — contact details, notes, and meeting outcomes.

Additional Administrative Duties

  • Maintain updated contact and resource lists for internal use (vendors, clients, interpreters, etc.).

The Interpreter: ASL provides American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, transliteration and sight translation communication access either consecutively or simultaneously to appointed Deaf or Hard of Hearing and associated clientele.

General duties include without limitation:

  • Adhere to NAD/RID Code of Professional Conduct
  • Adhere to and follow all MasterWord ISO required processes in reporting, escalation and documentation.
