MasterWord Services, Inc.™ is proud to announce that its new course Inside Civil Litigation: Practical and Ethical Applications for Interpreters has been approved for 8 continuing education hours by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, and 5 continuing education hours by the American Translators Association. Eligible participants have the opportunity to earn a total of 13 continuing education hours during the 8 hour course. MasterWord Services, Inc. is a registered provider of continuing education with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and is a member in good-standing with the American Translators Association.

Continuing Education for Licensed Court Interpreters - FAQs


Q: Is this course approved by the Texas Department of
Licensing and Regulation for Continuing education?
A: Yes. This course has been approved by TDLR. It has been assigned course number 2944 by TDLR.
Q: Is this course approved by the American Translators Association for continuing education?
A: Yes. This course has been approved by ATA.
Q: What do I need to bring with me to the course?
A: Attendees will need to bring a photo ID. Note-taking materials will be provided.
Q: How many CE credit hours will I receive from taking MasterWord's Continuing Education courses?
A: The courses have been approved for 8 CE credit hours by 5 CE credit hours by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and the American Translators Association. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion, at the end of the course.
Q: What will be the schedule on the day of the class?
A: Registration will begin at 7:30am. The course is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. with breaks throughout the day.
Q: What will be the exact location of each course?
A: As the date draws nearer, a location will be published on our website. Those who have registered prior to the date the location is determined will be notified by e-mail.
Q: What if I need to cancel?
A: If your cancellation is more than 2 weeks prior to the class date, then you will receive a full refund. Cancellation fee of 50% will be retained for any cancellations received 2 weeks to 2 days prior to class date. If cancellation is within 2 days prior to class date, no refund will be issued.
Q: Will there be a lunch break?
A: In an attempt to maximize classroom time, MasterWord Services, Inc.™ will continue the discussion through the lunch break. MasterWord will provide a box lunch at no additional charge.
