MasterWord employs carefully-screened professional translators who are independently certified by organizations, such as the US State Department, American Translators Association, and the International Association of Conference Interpreters, as well as degreed professionals. Each individual is tested for knowledge of terminology and proficiency in his/her native and second languages. Tests are conducted by technical experts and individuals accredited by the ATA. Once a candidate successfully completes the screening process, confidentiality and code of ethics agreements are signed as a condition of employment. Mila Green
Mila Green is the founder and President of MasterWord Services, Inc.™ A former Russian interpreter for the state department, Mila has gained international recognition for quality, efficiency, and excellent customer service. Under her leadership, MasterWord Services, Inc. has been recognized as both a Top 100 Women-Owned Business in Texas and a Top 500 Woman-Owned Business in the United States. Mila's success comes from her single-minded determination to exceed client expectations. Her commitment to clients and vendors has established Masterword Services, Inc. as one of the leading providers of industry-specific language solutions. She is an active supporter of organizations such as the American Translators Association, the National Council on Interpreting in Healthcare, and the Houston Interpreters and Translators Association. Mila is also a member of the Greater Houston Partnership and the CEO Roundtable. Mila holds degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
Leticia Sifuentes
Leticia Sifuentes is the Director of Operations for MasterWord Services, Inc.™ Leticia comes to MasterWord from the healthcare industry where she played a major role in client relations, business management, and marketing. Today, Leticia focuses on consulting with MasterWord’s clients to ensure that we understand their specific needs and implement the necessary processes and systems to successfully meet those needs. She leverages her keen ability to respond to our many clients while simultaneously managing several projects in a professional manner. Her ability to intently listen to client needs allows her to communicate their needs effectively and assemble teams that consistently exceed client expectations. .
Ms. Sifuentes is a mother of three and a native Houstonian with over 15 years of management experience. She is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
Renae Farmer
Renae Farmer is the Human Resource Manager at MasterWord Services, Inc.™ Renae is responsible for managing all administrative support departments, including human resources, accounting, information technology, property management, and contracts administration. Before joining MasterWord Services, Renae worked for 30 years in all aspects of office and personnel management as well as in multiple industries, including aviation, automotive, and energy.
Renae coordinates all the necessary resources to ensure MasterWord’s operations are fully supported and able to run smoothly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. She is a mother of three, and Houston has been her and her family’s home for the last 41 years
Olga Daggs
Olga Daggs is the Manager for the Translation Division of MasterWord Services, Inc.™ She is responsible for managing multiple, multilingual projects from inception to delivery, establishing budgets, deadlines, language guidelines, style guides, glossaries, etc. She coordinates groups of up to 30 freelancers for any given project as well as manages the daily activities of the on-site team of translators. Olga focuses on managing complex projects for our client’s domestic and international language needs.
Olga is an accomplished interpreter/translator. Prior to joining MasterWord Services, Inc.™, Olga worked as a freelance interpreter/translator for multiple clients based in Russia. Olga has traveled extensively and lived in the UK and China for several years. Olga graduated from Tula State University (Russia) with a Bachelors Degree in Linguistics. In addition, Olga has successfully completed the Localization Certificate Program at the University of California. Olga speaks, reads, and writes English and Russian fluently.
Indira Acosta
Indira Acosta is the Manager of the Interpretation Division for MasterWord Services, Inc.™ Indira’s strong project management and customer service skills, coupled with her unique background in both international recruitment and project management, make her a natural fit in this nationally recognized program. Indira manages a team of project coordinators as well as hundreds of independent contractors across the world while overseeing the management of the recruitment process to ensure qualified resources to all of MasterWord's clients. Additionally, Indira is responsible for the QA/QC processes for both the Interpretation and Translation Divisions. Indira is an up-and-coming expert in the interpreting industry. This February, Indira was a featured presenter at the 2008 Conference on the Prevention of Child Abuse. Indira is a native of Mexico and is fluent in both Spanish and English.
